New Large Acquisition in Bicester

Acting on behalf of clients, Cooper Callas, the national distributor of bathroom fittings and kitchen furniture distributors, Dunster and Morton have agreed to acquire a new distribution warehouse in Bicester, Oxfordshire.

The development, which was given practical completion in September comprises part of Phase 4 of Bicester Park, being developed by Kier Property.

The development comprises a new 55,000sq ft facility has been acquired freehold for £4.3m and Cooper Callas will complete their fit-out by January 2006. It has been designed to Cooper Callas specification and will replace a smaller existing warehouse in Bicester.

Damian Comerford, who advised Cooper Callas throughout says "The client had been seeking to replace and enlarge their existing distribution hub and this bespoke development is the solution. It will be a 'state of the art facility' enabling expansion of business directly to customers, and more efficient stock support to other Cooper Callas branches around the country"
