BUCKHURST COURT, WOKINGHAM has been let in just three months following the commencement of its marketing campaign report District
Estates.
The building which extends to 10,863 sq ft and is a self contained Grade A office building adjoining the A329M at Wokingham has been let to Volume Ltd on a new 10 year lease at a
rent of £24psf.
Damian Comerford of Dunster and Morton said
"Buckhurst Court is unique. It is a low density single storey office development within extensive landscaped grounds but within yards of a motorway junction
and next to The Hilton St Anne's Manor Hotel. Within weeks we had in excess of 6 viewings and we were delighted to agree a new lease to Volume, in what is a difficult market."
Chris Sykes, Volume’s CEO said
"Buckhurst Court will provide the perfect cornerstone for Volume’s next phase of growth. We now have the space and capacity to scale to meet the demand
for our unique blend of technology and creative services. Not only that, the building elevates Volume’s status as a local business to a global player and will play host to a growing number
of international clients."
The building was previously occupied by Palm who leased Buckhurst Court in 2003 when the building was built, but exercised a break clause with effect from March 2010.
Dunster and Morton and CBRE were joint agents on the building.
Nigel Anderton , Managing Director of District Estates Ltd, added
"This is a unique property which is an important element of our portfolio and which I was confident would find a new tenant at an early stage despite the
general problems of over supply of offices within the Thames Valley market. We are proud to have attracted a young and progressive IT marketing company who can now set about
their expansion plans with confidence.
