Dunster & Morton

Industrial Deal at Wokingham

The largest unit of the £6m MM3 industrial development at Molly Millars Lane, Wokingham has been sold to Shurgard Self Storage.

The development, which is a joint venture between Countryside Properties Plc and District Estates was completed in April 2002 and provides three units of 25,000 sq ft, 17,000 sq ft and 9,000 sq ft.

The price paid by Shurgard was £2.93m. The company which operates over 450 stores throughout the US and Europe, currently has seven stores in the UK, with a further two under construction.

"There is no substitute for location and quality" said Damian Comerford Partner in Dunster & Morton who acted for the developers.

"There were a number of similar opportunities in Wokingham but Shurgard’s decision to buy at MM3 underlines the premium companies attach to prominence and a quality product." He said.
