All Done in Maidenhead

Acting on behalf of CBRE Investors and Shell Pension Fund, Dunster and Morton announce the letting of a warehouse in Gardner Road Maidenhead.

The buildings comprise a warehouse extending to 20,980sq ft, and factory of 31230 sq ft which have been let for terms of 15 years to Into Storage and Maidenhead based, The Hand Made Cake Company. Into Storage have already taken up occupation with the Cake company planning a move at the beginning of 2008.

Given that the buildings were in excess of twenty five years old, serious consideration was given to a complete redevelopment of the site, but demand in Maidenhead for such stock is good and it was decided to market the existing buildings. Having initiated the marketing we established early interest within a few months. The Hand Made Cake Company needed planning permission for extensive alterations to facilitate their occupation which has now been received and they are now actively fitting out with a view to commencing operations in early 2008.
